Today Drew and I headed to the track for some 800s. Since I was told my 3:37s last time were "too slow" - my goal this week was to keep them under 3:30.
1 mile warmup
800 @ 3:17 / 400 recovery @ 3:00
800 @ 3:21 / 400 recovery @ 3:19
800 @ 3:27 / 400 recovery @ 3:20
800 @ 3:22 / 400 recovery @ 2:56
.5 mile cool down
Cut the cool down short as during it felt a twinge in my left glute. Nothing horrible but thought best to stop. Next week - same times but more reps (hopefully). Heart rate during intervals was at 180 bpm.
